Thulium Oxide

Thulium- and ytterbium-rich solutions were prepared from yttrium niobium ore through a series of extraction steps. These solutions were then separated by oxalic acid precipitation, filtered, and calcined to obtain thulium oxide.

Thulium oxide is used in the production of laser agents, electronics industry, scientific research, metal alloys, neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials, chemical additives, etc.; it can also be used to manufacture portable X-ray transmission devices and as a control material for reactors.
