Vitamin C drugs

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), also known as L-ascorbic acid, is a kind of water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin C in the food is absorbed by the human upper intestine. Once absorbed, it is distributed to all the water-soluble structure in the body, the vitamin C of metabolic activity pool in normal adult body is about 1500mg; the maximum storage peak is 3000mg of vitamin C. Under normal circumstances, the vast majority of vitamin C in the body is metabolized into oxalic acid or combined with sulfuric acid to generate ascorbic acid-2-sulfuric acid and then excreted with the urine; another part can be directly excreted with the urine.
