Acid Yellow 42

Bright yellow powder. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is lemon yellow. Aqueous solution added concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated sodium hydroxide, the color does not change. Soluble in ethanol is lemon yellow, slightly soluble in acetone. Lemon yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, the color is unchanged after dilution.
