Disodium 4-dodecyl-2,4'-oxydibenzenesulfonate is used as emulsifier for emulsion polymerization and leveling agent in nylon printing and dyeing industry. In the detergent industry, it is used as a wetting agent, a coupling agent, and a stabilizer.
