Dark yellow powder. Slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in ethylene glycol ether, DMF and ethanol.

Solvent Yellow 21 is mainly used for coloring various plastic products, as well as for coloring paints, inks, and other supplies. As a leather spraying yellow GL, it is mainly used for spraying or curtain coating of natural leathers such as pigskin, cowhide, and sheepskin, and is particularly suitable for spraying and coloring aniline leather. As a neutral yellow 2GL, it is used for dyeing wool, silk, and nylon, as well as for direct printing on fabrics. It has excellent lightfastness and is also used for leather coloring.
