Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin fraction obtained by controlled
depolymerization of pig heparin. As an anticoagulant it is reportedly useful in the
treatment of venous thromboembolism, and the prevention of coagulation in the
extracorporeal circulation during hemodialysis.
