Rosin amine is a light yellow, viscous, oily liquid with a pungent ammonia odor. It can be used as an additive in lubricants, a wood preservative, a corrosion inhibitor and bactericide/algaecide in industrial water treatment, and a sludge stripping agent in wastewater systems.
