Ultranox 626 is a white powder or granule.
Antioxidant 626 (ultranox 626) is Approved by the FDA for food contact applications under 21CFRl78.2010 covering antioxidants and/or stabilizers for polymers.
Ultranox 626 (Antioxidant 24, Irgafos 126) is suitable for polyolefins, polyesters, styrenes, engineering thermoplastics, PVC, elastomers and adhesives. Its products have excellent color stability, reduced polymer degradation, low dosage and higher phosphorus content than competitive phosphite antioxidants. It has synergistic effects when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenone and benzotriazole.
Antioxidant 626 is a white to off-white powdery substance with low volatility and higher efficiency. It is often used in combination with hindered phenolic antioxidants.
Excellent colour stability during compounding, fabrication and end-use.
Reduction in polymer degradation during processing.
Improved gas fading performance in many applications.
High performance at low loading levels for more cost-effective formulations.
Higher phosphorous content than competitive phosphite antioxidants.
Synergism when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenones and benzotriazoles.
Antioxidant 626 is suitable for: polyolefin and olefin copolymers, polycarbonate, polyamide and other engineering plastics, rubber and elastomers, coatings and adhesives.
Ultranox 626 is a solid organophosphite antioxidant that improves gas fading performance and color stability during compounding, fabrication, and end use. It delivers high performance at low loading rates, making this a cost-effective addition to polymer formulas. Ultranox 626 synergizes with benzophenone and benzotriazole light stabilizers. It is so effective that it can replace another phosphite antioxidant in your formula and deliver equivalent performance at a significantly lower dosing rate.
