Fotemustine is a new nitrosourea reportedly effective in the treatment of disseminated
malignant melanoma, with only mild hematological toxicity. Response rate is generally
lower in patients with colonic, breast, head and neck cancer.
Fotemustine is used in patients malignant gliomas to improve the efficacy of radiotherapy. Used in the treatment of glioblastomas.
