When 1-methyl-2-tetrahydropyrrolidone was used as the raw material for the synthesis of red crotonine, a small amount of unreacted raw material existed due to the control of reaction conditions during the synthesis process, which affected the product quality. In order to separate them, we found the appropriate thin-layer chromatographic conditions after several tests, and the separation of the chromatographic spots obtained more satisfactory results.
