Tetrabutylammonium bromide is also known as tetrabutylammonium bromide. Molecular formula [CH3-(CH2)3]4NBr. White crystal, deliquescent. Melting point 118℃. Soluble in water, alcohol, ether and acetone, slightly soluble in benzene. Used as polarographic reagent, also used in organic synthesis.
