4-Acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine is used in the preparation of antifungal selenium and sulfur derivatives of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine. In addition it can be used as an antioxidant in the
oxoammonium-salt form.
4-Acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine is a piperidine derivative. Density of 4-acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine (N-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl)acetamide) has been reported.
