Antianemia Drugs
The drugs to supplement the special hematopoietic constituents or stimulate bone marrow function for the treatment of anemia are called anti-anemia drugs. According to the different types of anemia, anti-anemia drugs can be divided into:
1. iron preparations: the treatment of chronic blood loss and iron deficiency anemia (hypochromic anemia) caused by the lack of nutrition or iron deficiency;
2. folic acid and vitamin B12: the treatment of megaloblastic anemia (hyperchromic anemia) due to the folic acid and vitamin B12 deficiency.
3. traditional Chinese medicine compound (habitat, Rehmannia, medlar, Codonopsis, etc.) and cobalt chloride, etc.: the treatment of aplastic anemia due to the bone marrow hematopoietic dysfunction or failure.
