Description

MY-5445 is an inhibitor of platelet aggregation via an increase in cGMP. Mechanistic studies of MY-5445 suggest that this compound affects cGMP PDE (phosphodiesterase), preventing the hydrolysis of cGMP in platelets. Experiments show that MY-5445 does not have an effect on cAMP and therefor does not affect any cAMP signal transduction pathways. MY-5445 is an inhibitor of PDE.
