General Description
A clear colorless liquid. Insoluble in water and less dense than water. Vapors heavier than air. Flash point near 140°F. Used as a solvent.

Flammable. Insoluble in water.

Moderate fire risk. Irritant to skin and eyes.

Inhalation or contact with material may irritate or burn skin and eyes. Fire may produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases. Vapors may cause dizziness or suffocation. Runoff from fire control or dilution water may cause pollution.
Safety Profile
Moderately toxic by ingestion and skin contact. Mildly toxic by inhalation, A sh irritant, Flammable when exposed to heat or flame, can react vigorously with oxidzing materials. When
heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes.
