Uses
Ethyl hydrazinoacetate hydrochloride has been used in the preparation of three novel copper(II) complexes as condensation derivatives of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde, 2-acetylpyridine and 2-quinolinecarboxaldehyde.
Synthesis
Ethyl hydrazinoacetate hydrochloride is prepared by using chloroacetic acid as a raw material and reacted with sodium hydroxide in the presence of a catalyst to obtain sodium chloroacetate, which is then reacted with hydrazine hydrate in the presence of sodium hydroxide, and the intermediate obtained is acidified and esterified to obtain ethyl hydrazinoacetate hydrochloride, the target product of the present invention.
