4-Iodo-2,6-dimethylaniline is an intermediate in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediate, which can be used in laboratory research and pharmaceutical synthesis process.

4-Iodo-2,6-dimethylaniline was prepared by reacting iodine,ethyl acetate and acetic acid in prestence of SPC and then heated with 2,6-dimethylaniline at 45-50℃ for 1 h.
