Trypsin is a member of the serine protease family.Trypsin will cleave peptides on the C-terminal side oflysine and arginine amino acid residues. Recombinanthuman Trypsin is a genetically engineered protein, expressed in E.Coliand purified by high pressure liquidchromatography. The amino acid sequence is thesame as that of human trypsin 2. The pH optimum oftrypsin is pH7 - 9. The enzyme is inhibited by serineproteases inhibitors, e.g. PMSF, and metal chelatingagents, e.g., EDTA.There is no foreign enzyme activity such as carboxypeptidaseA and chymotrypsin. No protease inhibitorssuch as PMSF contain in preparation
SALIENT ADVANTAGES
●Animal origin free
Recombinant Human Trypsin eliminates the risk ofviruses, or other potential adventitious agents foundin animal derived trypsin. Which belongs to the AOFlevel 3 products.
●Recombinant human trypsin
The amino acid sequence is the same as that of humantrypsin 2.
●Stable
A sterile recombinant trpsin lyophilized powdereliminates the contamination opportunity and
decreases the chance of activity loss in the process oftransport and storage.
●High purity
1)Recombinant human trypsin provides increased specificityand eliminates contaminating activities found inlower purity enzymes
2)No other proteases contaminated such as chymotrypsin, carboxypeptidase A.
3)One single main band at 24kD by SDS-PAGE
