Isomeric alcohol ether E-1300 is readily dispersible or soluble in water, exhibiting excellent wetting, penetrating, and emulsifying properties. In the textile and leather processing industries, isomeric alcohol ether E-1300 is used as a component of degreasing agents, detergents, emulsifiers, and scouring agents. Isomeric alcohol ether E-1300 has a particularly good emulsifying effect on amino silicone oils and dimethyl silicone oils, and can enhance their post-application efficacy. It is also used as a metalworking aid, in multi-purpose detergents, stain-removing synergists, household cleaning agents, and in vehicle, public facility, and ultrasonic cleaning agents.
