Solubility in organic solvents (20℃ ,g/L): acetone 360, dichloromethane ≥500, n-hexane 2.5, methanol 27, toluene 270.Hydrolysis in aqueous solution DT50: 115d (pH 5), 5.5d (pH 7), 0.079d (pH 9).
Field trials of FENCHLORAZOL-ETHYL under various climatic and agricultural conditions have demonstrated its high herbicidal activity against many grassy weeds, including Alopecurus aegypti, oats, sedge, and purslane. When used to control grassy weeds, it does not affect the herbicidal activity of quizalofop-p-ethyl. It exhibits no herbicidal activity whether applied pre-emergence or post-emergence, even at dosages as high as 10 kg/hm².
