Nitenpyram is a systemic insecticide.
Nitenpyram is used to control aphids, thrips, leafhoppers, whitefly
and other sucking insects on rice and glasshouse crops.
ChEBI: A C-nitro compound consisting of 2-nitroethene-1,1-diamine where one of the nitrogens bears ethyl and (6-chloro-3-pyridinyl)methyl while the other nitrogen carries a methyl group.
The only information available for nitenpyram is its relatively short persistence
in soil and the two metabolites named in a paper on analytical
methods.
