Rubiadin is a dihydroxy anthraquinone isolated from Rubia cordifolia. Rubiadin exhibits anti-epileptic activity in mice.
ChEBI: A dihydroxyanthraquinone that is anthracene-9,10-dione substituted by hydroxy groups at positions 1 and 3 and a methyl group at position 2. It has been isolated from Rubia yunnanensis.
