N-n-Butylbenzenesulfonamide is neurotoxic and irritant, causing skin irritation and severe eye irritation. It has also been found to induce convulsive myelopathy in rabbits. In humans, inhalation may cause conjunctival irritation and structural or functional changes in the trachea or bronchi. Furthermore, this substance may cause damage to organs following prolonged or repeated exposure.
