7(S)-Maresin 1 is an inactive 7(S) exomer of Maresin 1, containing a 7(R) hydroxyl group. It can be used as a negative control. Maresin 1 is a specific regulator of endogenous DHA production in the human body, which can stimulate the production and secretion of intracellular Ca2+[1].
