7-Amino-1,3-naphthalenedisulfonic Acid Monopotassium Salt Monohydrate is a fluorescent label for carbohydrates. It can be used as analyte in analytical study of microplate-based detection of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenase activity by fluorescence-labeling of insoluable oxidized products.
Uses
To label carbohydrates, this fluorescent reagent reacts with the reducing termini of oligosaccharids to form a Schiffs base, which can then be stabilized by reducing it with sodium cyanoborohydride.
