Description
5-Amino-2-ethoxy-benzenesulfonic acid is poorly soluble in water and ethyl alcohol. Manufactured by treating o-dichlorobenzene with 96 % sulfuric acid and baking the resulting sulfate or from phenetidine by reaction with oleum.
