Description
Docosadienoic acid methyl ester is an esterified version of 13Z,16Z-docosadienoic acid , which is a natural ω-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA). Docosadienoic acid is an agonist of free fatty acid receptor 4 (FFAR4, also known as GPR120) and strongly inhibits the secretion of ghrelin by isolated mouse gastric cells.
Uses
cis-13,16-Docosadienoic acid methyl ester is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biological material or organic compound for life science related research.
