2,4,5-TrichlorobenzenesulfonylChloride is obtained from trichlorobenzene by chlorosulfonation with chlorosulfuric acid at 90 ℃ and pouring the reaction mass into water.
Application
Esters and amides of several chlorobenzenesulfonic acids (particularly 4-chlorobenzenesulfonic acid, 2,5-dichlorobenzenesulfonic acid, and 2,4,5-trichlorobenzenesulfonic acid) have acquired some importance as crop protection products and agents for the control of fiber pests.
