Description
Dihydralazine sulfate is a vasodilator and an antihypertensive agent. It relaxes arterial smooth muscle by inhibiting the accumulation of intracellular free calcium. By relaxing vascular smooth muscle, vasodilators act to decrease peripheral resistance.

Dihydralazine sulphate is an antihypertensive agent of the hydrazine class used during pregnancies in dialysis patients with familial mediterranean fever and cystinosis under hemodialysis.
Application
Dihydralazine sulphate (Nepresol) is a dihydralazine-1,4-phthalazine derivative and used as an antihypertensive drug with actions and uses similar to those of hydralazine.
