Description
Tosufloxacin tosylate is a new fluoroquinolone antibacterial structurally related to
temafloxacin. Mechanistically, it is a microbial DNA topoisomerase inhibitor,
useful against beta-lactamase producing organisms. Tosufloxacin tosylate is reported to be particularly effective against Salmonella enteritidis.
