Application
8-Hydroxyquinoline-lithium is a widely used 8-hydroxyquinoline metal compound and has become a promising electron transport material in organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs). It is widely used in various types of electroluminescent devices, improving device performance. However, during the fabrication of OLEDs, trace impurities can easily cause pinholes, short circuits, and black spots, thus affecting device lifespan. Therefore, preparing high-purity materials is crucial.
Uses
8-Hydroxyquinolinolato-lithium (Liq) is a highly efficient electron injection layer (EIL) material for use in OLEDs and OPVs. When applied as a thin interlayer between Alq₃ and aluminium, Liq significantly enhances device efficiency. Research has further demonstrated that an ultra-thin Liq interlayer substantially improves the operational stability of light-emitting diodes.
