• Uses

  It is used for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as chronic superficial gastritis, chronic atrophic gastritis, and gastrointestinal bleeding. When used in combination with antibiotics, it can eradicate Helicobacter pylori. It is used for Helicobacter pylori-related gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic gastritis, gastric MALT lymphoma, postoperative early gastric cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and functional dyspepsia. It can also be combined with proton pump inhibitors (proton pump inhibitors and H2 receptor antagonists) in a quadruple therapy regimen as salvage treatment after failure to eradicate Helicobacter pylori.
