BE-18591 shows antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria. BE-18591 inhibited the growth of the MKN-45 cell line (IC50= 0.285 μg/mL) and the P388 cell line (IC50= 0.52 μg/mL)[1].
