What is benefits and side effects of β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide?

β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide(NMN) is a precursor for NAD+ biosynthesis, and NMN dietary supplementation has been demonstrated to increase NAD+ concentration and thus has the potential to mitigate aging-related disorders such as oxidative stress, DNA damage, neurodegeneration and inflammatory responses. It can have ill effects on the kidneys, liver, and beta-cells in the pancreas (which makes insulin) and can lead to gastrointestinal upset and headaches.
