2,2-Bis[4-(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl]propane is a monomer that is used in the production of polyurethanes.Patent CN1472193A discloses a method for preparing BNPP by using a salt forming agent and a dehydrating agent, and then reducing the BNPP by using ferric chloride hexahydrate, activated carbon and hydrazine hydrate to obtain BAPP.
