描述	Arginine glutamate serves as a nitrogen donor in the synthesis of nitric oxide. Arginine glutamate promotes gastric emptying in rats and can be used in research on functional dyspepsia.
体内活性	方法：大鼠口服 10–30 mg/kg Arginine glutamate，以及灌胃 3–30 mg/kg 该化合物，分别检测胃排空与胃适应性舒张功能。结果：Arginine glutamate可剂量依赖性促进大鼠胃排空，该作用依赖迷走神经激活；同时也能剂量依赖性增强大鼠胃的适应性舒张。
