Product Description:

  Hesperidin is a disaccharide derivative that consists of hesperetin substituted by a 6-O-(alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl moiety at position 7 via a glycosidic linkage. It has a role as a mutagen. It is a disaccharide derivative, a member of 3'-hydroxyflavanones, a dihydroxyflavanone, a monomethoxyflavanone, a flavanone glycoside, a member of 4'-methoxyflavanones and a rutinoside. It derives from a hesperetin.

Application:

  After hydrogenation, hesperidin is a natural sweetener, dihydrochalcone, which is 1000 times sweeter than sucrose and can be used as a functional food.

Effect:
(1) Hesperidin is a drug for the treatment of hypertension and myocardial infarction. It is used as a raw material for pharmacy in the pharmaceutical industry and is one of the main components of the Chinese patent medicine Maitong.
(2) Hesperidin has anti-lipid oxidation, scavenging oxygen free radicals, anti-inflammatory, anti-virus and anti-bacterial effects. Long-term use can delay aging and anti-cancer.
