Diisopropyl azodicarboxylate is used as a liquid foaming agent for vinyl resins. Can be used to make light vinyl foam. It has a uniform microporous structure, and depending on the formulation and processing conditions, a closed or open cell foam can be obtained. Also used as pharmaceutical intermediates, organic synthesis reagents, etc.
