Chemical properties:
white crystalline powder. Melting point 204-206℃. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in ethanol and ether. Odorless, bitter taste.
Uses:
As a hemostatic agent, it can inhibit the activation enzyme of fibrinogen, so that the fibrinogen can not be activated as fibrinolytic enzyme, thus inhibiting the dissolution of fibrin and achieving hemostasis. In high concentrations, it also has a direct effect on fibrinolysin. It is used for postpartum hemorrhage caused by hyperfibrinolysis and postoperative hemorrhage of prostate, liver, pancreas, lung, etc. Intravenous injection or intravenous drip: 4-8g each time, 8-12g a day, generally the first dose of 4-6g, dissolved in sterilized normal saline, 5% glucose injection or compound sodium chloride injection 100ml, injected within 15-30 minutes, the maintenance dose is 1g per hour, the number of times depending on the condition.
Production method:
caprolactam hydrolysis. Caprolactam, concentrated hydrochloric acid and 3 times the amount of distilled water were added to the reaction tank, stirred, and heated for reflux 1.5h at a controlled temperature of 103-106℃. After the reaction, the conversion rate should be above 95%. Adding distilled water to dilute to 10% concentration, 10% 6-aminocaproic acid hydrolysate was obtained. The hydrolysate was uniformly poured into the ion exchange column [packed with 001×7 (732#) strong acidic styrene cation exchange resin] at a flow rate of 5-10L per hour for adsorption. After the flow is finished, close the outlet and soak overnight. Wash the ion exchange column with distilled water to remove hydrochloric acid (check effluent to be free of chloride ions). Then, 3.5% ammonium hydroxide is uniformly injected at a flow rate of 5-10L per hour. After the flow is finished, close the flow outlet and soak overnight. The next day, after continuing to finish the ammonium hydroxide, the eluent containing 6-aminocaproic acid was collected by flowing into distilled water for elution. Decolorization with activated carbon, filtration, filtrate at 47-70℃ reduced pressure concentration nearly dry. Add ethanol while hot and stir to crystallize. After cooling, the coarse product is filtered. The crude product was dissolved in distilled water and decolorized with activated carbon at 60℃ for 1h. Strain while still hot. Filtrate reduced pressure concentrated near dry. Add ethanol to precipitate crystallization, cooling, filtration, crystallization with ethanol washing, drying, 6-aminocaproic acid. The total yield of p-caprolactam was 75-80%.
