Appearance: Colorless to white cube crystal. The relative density is 2.16. The hygroscopicity of pure products is very small (critical temperature 73%, 25℃), such as containing impure magnesium chloride, the hygroscopicity is larger. Melting point 800℃. The aqueous solution is neutral, and the pH value of 5% aqueous solution is 5.5 ~ 8.5. The relative density of saturated salt water (d425) is 1.202, and the freezing point is below -20℃. Soluble in water (1g/2.8m1, 25℃; Or 1g/2.7ml, boiling water) and glycerin (1g/10m1), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in hydrochloric acid. Can contain 2% of food grade anti-binding agents, free flow agents and modifiers, including sodium ferrocyanide ≤13mg/kg, or ammonium ferric citrate ≤25g/100g. If it is iodized salt, it can contain potassium iodide 0.006% ~ 0.010%.
