Characteristics The density is 0.96g/cm3, flashing point 27.8°C, boiling point 204~206°C/30mmHg, and nD 20 1.4390 (refractive index 20°C). Well soluble in alcohol, isopuopyl alcohol, toluene etc.. ASB is flammable, tends to absorb moisture, and reacts with water into aluminium hydroxide and sec-butyl alcohol.
Applications It is used as active catalyst and carrier, inorganic membrane, reducing agent of aldehyde-ketone, oxidant of aldehyde-ketone, gel forming agent of printing ink and paint, dehydrant, water proofing agent, aluminium complex grease, flavours and fragrances etc..
Packaging Polyethylene plastic buckets, net weight 200kg per bucket.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
