Product properties: colorless or white needle-like crystals, can be yellowed by light. Strong wood phenol flavor, with a slight sweet aroma. Melting point: 41-46°C, boiling point: 218-219°C, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and carbon disulfide. Natural products exist in egg fruit, European sour cranberry, pork, rum, whiskey, coffee and so on.
