Disodium phenyl phosphate dihydrate

Sodium Phenyl Phosphate Dibasic Dihydrate is used in the analytical studies for the determination of phenyl phosphate based on indirect pertubation effect on an oscillating system.

Dissolve it in a minimum amount of methanol, filtering off any insoluble residue of inorganic phosphate, then precipitate it by adding an equal volume of Et2O. Wash the solid with Et2O and dry it in a vacuum [Tsuboi Biochim Biophys Acta 8 173 1952]. [Beilstein 6 IV 708.]
