2,4-Dichloro-5-amino-6-methylpyrimidine is not only used as a key raw material for synthesizing bioactive drug compounds and pyrimidine heterocyclic derivatives with antiviral, antitumor and antibacterial properties, but also for the preparation of pyrimidine herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agrochemicals.
