Solvent Red 135 is an amino ketone bright red powder that is insoluble in water under normal conditions. It is soluble in chloroform, ethanol, organic solvent, and acetone. It is majorly used as for ABS resin, polystyrene, acetate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) colouring. It is also utilized in polyester fibre protoplasmic colouring. It is used in food packaging and in rubber and plastic rubber.

Solvent Red 135 is used for coloring various resins, such as polystyrene, ABS, plexiglass, and polyvinyl chloride. It is also used for coloring cellulose acetate and polyester fiber pulp, producing a yellowish-red color. It has a lightfastness rating of 7-8 and a heat resistance of 300-320℃.
