3,7,11,15-Tetramethyl-2-hexadecenyl Acetate was made commercially available a few years ago by a company in the Vitamin industry. The ester could be a supporting fixative in floral bases, artificial flower absolutes, etc. It will introduce a delicate, fresh note useful in Muguet types, Ylang, Jasmin, Tuberose, Rose and many other florals.
