ChEBI: Bixlozone is an oxazolidinone that is 1,2-oxazolidin-3-one substituted by a 2,4-dichlorobenzyl group at position 2 and two methyl groups at position 4. It is a herbicide used for the control of annual ryegrass (including herbicide resistant biotypes) and regionally specific broadleaf weeds. It has a role as a herbicide, an agrochemical and a carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitor. It is an oxazolidinone and a dichlorobenzene.
