The structure of 4-chloro-3-nitrophenylboronic acid contains a chlorine atom, a nitro group and a boronic acid group, and therefore can participate in many types of chemical reactions, including but not limited to: 1) nucleophilic substitution reactions: the chlorine atom can be replaced by other nucleophilic reagents; 2) reduction reactions: the nitro group can be reduced to an amine compound by a reducing agent such as powdered iron, hydrogen, or zinc; and 3) boronic acid group reactions: the boronic acid group can participate in a variety of reactions.
