Maduramycin is a polyether antibiotic extracted from the culture solution of actinomycetes. A white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in chloroform, methanol and ethanol, and stable in an acidic medium.
Uses
Maduramycin is a new type of anticoccidial drug, which can be used to prevent and treat coccidiosis in chickens. It is mainly used for broiler coccidiosis.
