Aspartic acid derivatives

Aspartic acid, also known as aspartate, an α-amino acid, whose L- isomer is one of 20 kinds of amino acids proteins, i.e. proteins structural units. Its codons are GAU and GAC. It is an acidic amino acid, the same as glutamic acid. Aspartate ubiquitous in the biosynthesis. It is a synthetic precursor of lysine, threonine, isoleucine, methionine and so on, amino acid, purine and pyrimidine bases. It can be used as isotopic carrier of K +and Mg + to transport electrolyte to the myocardium, thereby improving myocardial contractile function, and reducing oxygen consumption, to protect myocardium when the coronary circulation disorders and hypoxia. It is involved in ornithine circulation, promoting oxygen and carbon dioxide to transport into urea, reducing the amount of nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the blood, enhancing liver function, reducing fatigue.
